Quality, safety and health are priorities
Ritmeester Interfreight is aware of its responsibility for the working and living environment of staff, customers and residents. Quality, safety and health are therefore key words within Ritmeester Interfreight's service provision. Our management is aimed at maximum elimination of risks, and this means, among other things, that our equipment is always in tip-top condition.
SQAS: the standard
Quality and safety largely depend upon the behaviour of staff and the way in which they carry out their tasks. Ritmeester has therefore developed the Ritmeester Management System, an approach in which all operational processes are assured in terms of quality, safety, health and environmental impact.
The Ritmeester Management System is based on the Safety & Quality Assessment System (SQAS), which has been developed to assess and assure performance in the domains of quality, safety, health and sustainability. SQAS was developed by Cefic, the European branch organisation for the chemical industry, specifically for logistics service providers and chemicals distributors. We have incorporated the high demands made by this industry into our standard for all our logistics operations.
