As an articulated lorry driver, you are a vital link in the Ritmeester organisation. You drive a Scania from our Hamburg base to various ports in Northern Germany on a daily basis. You mainly deliver ship's supplies to seagoing vessels and industrial end users, carrying loads consisting of e.g. provisions, equipment or marine paints (ADR). When unloading, you use an (electric) pallet jack and you go aboard the ship to inform the captain.

At Ritmeester, you are free to choose how many days you work. If a 40 to 50-hour working week is not for you, we will still welcome you with open arms and work out a schedule that suits you. If a full-time job is exactly what you are looking for, you have certainly come to the right place as well!

The job

Your work will mainly be carried out in the ports of Northern Germany.

We specialise in provisioning seagoing vessels in the Netherlands, Belgium and Northern Germany. We have over 25 vehicles on the road every day, providing ships and industrial end users with their products.

Salary: In accordance with the Dutch Collective Agreement for Road Haulage (CAO beroepsgoederenvervoer).

We require:

Flexibility with regard to working hours and duties;
Category CE Driving Licence and valid Code 95 (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence);
Familiarity or affinity with the ports of the Netherlands and Belgium (preferred);
ADR basic certificate (or a willingness to obtain it);
A team player.
