Heavy Goods Vehicle Charge from 1 July 2026

On 1 July 2026, the Dutch government is introducing an HGV toll, the Heavy Goods Vehicle Charge. It will apply to lorries of over 3,500 kg and will be calculated per kilometre driven. As a result, we are facing additional costs for our transport activities. We feel it is important to be clear and open about this. That is why, from 1 July 2026 , we are introducing a separate 5% HGV toll surcharge on the transport rate. This surcharge will be listed separately on our invoices. You will be able to see exactly where the costs are coming from. If the official rates change, we will reassess the surcharge and adjust it if necessary. The abolition of the Eurovignette and reduction of the motor vehicle tax have already been taken into account in our cost estimate for 2026.
